Quacert representative hands over the ISO certificate to Mr. Vu Manh Au – Prime Vinh Phuc director

 

Mr. Cherdsak Niyomsilpa, Prime Group General Director, attended a reception with representatives from all Prime subsidiaries, local authorities and Vietnam Certification Centre (Quacert) to recognise the considerable effort that had been involved from all Prime Vinh Phuc employees and to formally acknowledge the achievement of:
– ISO14001:2004 – Environmental management systems
– OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational health and safety management systems

Achieving the standards reinforce Prime Vinh Phuc’s commitment to delivering the highest quality of tiles and continually improving business performance in safe and legal working environments.

Prime Vinh Phuc JSC whose main office locates in Vinh Phuc Province is one of subsidiaries under the umbrella of Prime Group, now managing 4 factories (2 tiles factories, 1 frit factory and 1 color stain factory). Following the vision of PRIME to contribute to the sustainable progress of Vietnam and the local communities, the company does not stand still and will continue to improve and put more effort to ensure these standards are maintained. As Mr. Vu Manh Au said “Following these standards open the new opportunities for the company in both domestic and oversea market and to have good preparation for ASEAN Economic Community integration in 2015”.

About ISO 14001:2004
ISO 14001:2004 specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organisation to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements about significant environmental aspects.

About BS OHSAS 18001:2007
BS OHSAS 18001:2007 is intended to help businesses control occupational Health and Safety risks. It was developed in response to a widespread demand for a recognised standard of certification, and actually works well with the ISO 14001 standard. It is a framework that allows a business to consistently identify and control its Health and Safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents and legal issues, and improve overall performance.
